Alex Lintner

Alex Lintner is president of Intuit's Global Business Division, managing the company's businesses outside of the U.S., while building and marketing global offerings beyond Canada and the United Kingdom. He took this position in October 2007, after serving as Intuit's senior vice president for corporate strategy, corporate development and corporate affairs.

After arriving at Intuit in April 2005, Lintner led efforts to strengthen the company's strategy and shape its structure. He was a principal architect who helped shape the business strategies of the company's three fastest-growing businesses: consumer tax, payroll and payments. In addition, Lintner led the acquisitions of Digital Insight, Electronic Clearinghouse Inc. and Homestead Technologies, which expanded Intuit's portfolio and future growth potential.

Before joining Intuit, Lintner was vice president of the Boston Consulting Group's San Francisco office, where he worked with Intuit on several business initiatives. Previously, he worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as head of its London office. Before his career in consulting, Lintner worked for a major European computer manufacturer.

Lintner holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Tulsa and a master's in business administration from Boston College. He also received an executive certificate from the Harvard Business School.
