Intuit GoPayment Now Available on App Store
Free Download Turns iPhone and iPod touch into Credit Card Terminal; Helps Business Owners Get Paid Faster and Improve Cash Flow
Mountain View, Calif. – Aug. 04, 2009 – Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU), the maker of QuickBooks®, today announced that Intuit® GoPayment is available on the App Store. The GoPayment App is a new way to process credit card payments using iPhone and iPod touch. The free download turns iPhone or iPod touch into an affordable and hassle-free credit card terminal.
GoPayment helps business owners get paid faster and improve cash flow by processing customer credit card payments as soon as they complete a job. It’s a quick and easy way to process credit cards, view past charges and send customers electronic receipts via e-mail or text message. For added control, users can also review transactions online and synchronize them with QuickBooks.

The GoPayment App is available for free download from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.
GoPayment is affordable and hassle-free. It requires no extra, costly hardware and businesses owners can add more employees to a single merchant account at no additional cost. Credit card data is never stored on the handset and is protected during transmission using the same technology as the financial services industry standard. The GoPayment App works on iPhone and iPod touch OS versions 2.1 and later and transactions can be synchronized with QuickBooks 2009 or later.
In addition to the free GoPayment App, to process credit card payments, business owners need an Intuit GoPayment merchant account, which costs $19.95 a month and requires a one-time setup fee of $59.95. Transaction pricing is competitive and users can cancel any time as there are no long-term contracts. Standard carrier data and text fees apply when sending e-mail and text message receipts.
